YUMI Lash Lift

You can check out Elle magazine's review of YUMILashes here.

YUMILashes is an advanced technique designed and developed in France, which boosts and lifts the natural eyelash without the need for fake eyelashes. It is NOT your average Lash Lift. YUMI uses high quality ingredients that have been approved by opthalmologists and dermatologists to be hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive eyes, this is a non-toxic formula that is free of harsh chemicals.

YUMILashes was founded by Swiss permanent makeup expert artist, as a luxurious alternative to eyelash extensions, false lashes and growth serums. It is the ultimate low maintenance alternative. Instead of getting lash refills every 2 weeks, you get a YUMI treatment once every 8-10 weeks.

What does the treatment involve?

Your natural lashes are lifted up onto a silicone curved mould then a solution is applied to lift them, then a solution to fix them in their position, then they are tinted. The service includes a 2-step nourishing treatment to infuse the lashes with vitamins and strengthening ingredients to keep the lashes healthy and thick. As a result, you have healthy, dark lashes that curve beautifully upwards. The amount of curve is customized per client.

The treatment takes about 1 hour.

After the treatment your lashes will need to stay away from steam, water or eye makeup for 24 hours.

Aren't all lash lifts the same?

Definitely not. Other lash lifts contain harsh chemicals that can easily fry your lashes, cause them to thin out and damage their potential to grow!

Some of these treatments are only a few dollars cheaper but don't last as long as YUMI and will weaken the lash, plus you're stuck with these results for upto 10 weeks. YUMI is only supplied to those trained in this specific technique. Other Lift products can be used by anyone.

How long will it last?

Your lashes will stay lifted for 6-10 weeks. Under certain circumstances, your lashes may not last that amount of time depending on hormone levels, the individual lash growth cycle you are in and how well your hair takes to product.

As your lashes go through their growth cycle, new lashes will grow in place and over the weeks you will have less "lifted" lashes.

Factors that can speed this cycle up are a quick metabolism, using lash serums, pregnancy, menopause, medication and a healthy lifestyle.

What does it cost?:

$100 for the lift and complimentary tint. On average you can have the treatment once every 8-10 weeks.
